90 percent of the Makhana produced in India is in Bihar only. If we look in the context of the world, then its participation in India is about 85 percent. Now apart from Korea, Japan, Makhana is also produced in China, Malaysia, Bangladesh. The countries to which India exports Makhana include America, Britain, Canada etc.
