Dr Paras Aggarwal said that if you are undergoing treatment for diabetes and your sugar is under control, then you can eat some sweets during the festival season. It will not cause any harm but if you are eating sweets in large quantity then it can be harmful. Therefore, it would be better to eat sweets with less sugar or sugar free.

Such sweets can be eaten by diabetic patients
Dr Aggarwal told that everyone is greedy for sweets in the festive season. In such a situation, if a diabetic patient eats sweets made from dry fruits, then there will be no harm. For this, you can consume sweets made from figs, walnuts etc., but remember to limit the use of these sweets too. Dr Aggarwal said that usually when sweets are given to diabetic patients, they eat several pieces instead of one or two. This is where the problem starts. If diabetes is under control. That is, if they have sugar control under the supervision of a doctor, then they can eat any one or two sweets, but if they eat more sweets then it will increase the sugar level and they will have to come to the doctors.
How many blood sugar patients can eat sweets
Dr Paras Aggarwal says that usually if the patient’s sugar level is above 200, then he should not eat sweets under any circumstances. If a patient’s sugar level is below 150 and he is undergoing treatment under the supervision of a doctor, then he can eat some sweets. Yes, keep in mind that eating more sweets can be harmful for them. If you are in contact with the doctor and blood sugar is under control, then you can eat sweets with low sugar, but patients with sugar above 200 should consult the doctor first, then if they have advised to eat sweets, then eat them only.

If your blood sugar level exceeds what is under the supervision of doctors, then go to the doctor immediately. The doctor will give necessary advice after proper medicine. Don’t wait to get sick. Or do not think that sugar has increased due to a little sweet, it will be cured soon. Do not do this at all, if the sugar has increased then go to the doctor.
